Air conditioning

Finding the most suitable air conditioning unit for you!

With British summers forecasted to get warmer over the next decade, many office workers and homeowners will find that they would benefit from having air conditioning.

At Cool Concerns Mechanical Limited, we offer Installation, Maintenance and Repair services for Air Conditioning Systems and Air Conditioner Units.

Air conditioning creates a more productive working environment, enables you to keep windows and doors shut to keep out noise and air pollution, and helps combat excessive heat generated by home and office electrical equipment and the people within them.

Cool Concerns Mechanical supplies and installs air conditioners and chillers for residential properties, retail shops, restaurants, gyms, warehouses, IT rooms, and offices, large and small.

Types of air conditioning systems available:

Split Systems - single or multi options
Split systems are made up of a single indoor unit (mounted on either a wall, ceiling or floor) which re-circulates the air, cooling it and heating as required. The indoor unit is linked to an outdoor unit (condenser). The condenser dissipates the heat removed from the room into the atmosphere. If heat is required, the system goes into reverse, taking heat from the outside condenser and transferring it back to the indoor unit.

VRF System
Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems are the latest development in split systems. A single outdoor condenser can run up to 50 indoor aircon and/or heating units. Each unit (or room) can be controlled independently to provide the ultimate in flexibility, allowing occupants of the room to choose their own desired temperature.

Ducted Systems
Ducted air conditioning use discreet and unobtrusive ceiling grilles and is often the choice for larger areas requiring cooling. This type of system is regarded as the quietest and most versatile of all air conditioning systems and is suitable for both domestic, office and retail environments.

Chillers
The option of using chilled water through a large chiller, connected to a number of indoor units can be considered a possible option for larger scale projects.

Portable Air Conditioning
There are many types of portable air conditioning units now widely available and these are probably best value for small scale domestic use (single room for example).
