Keeping you at just the right temperature
Air conditioning supply & install
With British summers forecasted to get warmer over the next decade, many office workers and home owners will find that they would benefit from having air conditioning.

Air conditioning creates a more productive working environment, enables you to keep windows and doors shut to keep out noise and air pollution, and helps combat excessive heat generated by home and office electrical equipment and the people within them.
Creating the perfect environment, all year round.
Cool Concerns Mechanical supplies and installs air conditioners and chillers for residential properties, retail shops, restaurants, gyms, warehouses, IT rooms, and offices, large and small.
The right air conditioning for you…
We will come and meet with you to discuss what you want to achieve with your air conditioning and/or heating system and your budget. We will then inspect the retail premises, office or home and assess the feasibility of the different system types - selecting the most energy efficient and appropriate one for your needs.
Some systems require false or suspended ceilings to fit cassettes or fully ducted systems and obviously this is not always possible at every location.
Heating as well as cooling options can be added to efficiently heat and cool your work environment or home.
Combined heating and cooling systems attract 5% VAT for residential installations.
Types of air conditioning systems available:
Split Systems - single or multi options
Split systems are made up of a single indoor unit (mounted on either a wall, ceiling or floor) which re-circulates the air, cooling it and heating as required. The indoor unit is linked to an outdoor unit (condenser). The condenser dissipates the heat removed from the room into the atmosphere. If heat is required, the system goes into reverse, taking heat from the outside condenser and transferring it back to the indoor unit.
A multi-split system simply means that a number of indoor units can be individually controlled from the single outdoor condenser. You would find this system suitable for multiple indoor areas but where there is limited space for multiple outdoor units to be sited.
VRF System
Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems are the latest development in split systems. A single outdoor condenser can run up to 50 indoor aircon and/or heating units. Each unit (or room) can be controlled independently to provide the ultimate in flexibility, allowing occupants of the room to choose their own desired temperature.
Ducted Systems
Ducted air conditioning use discreet and unobtrusive ceiling grilles and is often the choice for larger areas requiring cooling which are beyond the capabilities of the normal split type units (mentioned above).
This type of system is regarded as the quietest and most versatile of all air conditioning systems and is suitable for both domestic, office and retail environments. However, these systems do require suspended or false ceilings for installation.
Chillers
The option of using chilled water through a large chiller, connected to a number of indoor units can be considered a possible option for larger scale projects.
Portable Air Conditioning
There are many types of portable aircon units now widely available and these are probably best value for small scale domestic use (single room for example). Portable units can be purchased direct through your local DIY or electrical appliance retailer.
